Steel Barricades
Q:   Which foot style should I choose?
A:

Our best selling style is the BRIDGE FOOT style barricade. We recommend this foot style for use on uneven surfaces. It is also the recommended style for placement on soft surfaces, such as grass or foam padding. The bridge foot is not recommended for indoor use, as the feet will scratch sensitive surfaces.

The FLAT FOOT style barricade is ideal and most often used for parallel crowd and traffic control, i.e. funneling crowds and vehicles in parallel lines. Since the flat foot design is the least obtrusive, pedestrians will not trip over the feet and cars will not damage the feet if they drive too close to the barrier. We recommend painting the feet yellow to further reduce the tripping hazard.

Q:

I am using my barricades for security lines at a rock concert and I am concerned that the barricades will be pulled apart. Will Signature Barricades stay in place?

A:

Yes! Our interlocking system which features an angled male connector will prevent someone from unhooking one of the barriers from the line. The 40-degree angle at the end of the male connector makes it impossible to tip the barricade enough to unhook it while it is still connected on the other end.

Q:   I need a custom size barricade, can you make it for me?
A:   Yes, we do make custom barricades. Please call us to speak to one our sales specialists.
Q:   How long does it take to ship my order?
A:

We process orders for barricades immediately and can accommodate rush orders. Delivery to most points in the continental U.S. is one to five business days for regular orders. Please call us to discuss your specific needs.

Q:   How will the barricades be shipped?
A:

All barricade orders are shipped via trucks. We will determine the best carrier for you when you place your order. Please note: standard deliveries require a loading dock; standard truck deliveries do not have a lift gate. If you do not have a loading dock and require a truck with a lift gate, please let us know when you place your order. Additional charges may apply.

Q:   Can I use my own carrier?
A:   Yes, definitely! Please let our sales specialist know and they will arrange it for you.
Q:   Do I have to assemble the barricades?
A:   No. Signature Barricades ship fully assembled and ready to use.
Q:   What if my shipment comes damaged?
A:

Please make a note of the damage on the bill of lading/receipt, providing as much detail as possible. Also, it will be beneficial to take photos of the damage for further documentation.
